For the woman with the friend with celiac disease:

Do NOT stuff the bird with the regular bread stuffing; it will mean your friend can’t eat the turkey. Also, you need to buy a turkey without gluten. Some turkeys have basting solutions injected that contain gluten.

To make gravy, you can use cornstarch as a thickener instead of regular flour.

If there are any canned or otherwise processed foods that you are using in your food, it would be helpful if you could keep the labels so your friend can look at them and make sure there’s no hidden gluten. S/he will appreciate this courtesy.

Finally, make sure you don’t use the same utensils for something with gluten (like a regular bread stuffing) and something without (like a rice stuffing). If you stir the bread stuffing, and then stir the rice stuffing with the same spoon, the rice is now contaminated with gluten and your friend can’t safely eat it.

For beverages, most are fine for a person with celiac disease, but beer is not and something like a wine cooler may actually say “malt beverage,” so it is also not okay.

A lot of traditional desserts aren’t okay. As a celiac myself (with a celiac daughter as well), I’m making dinner for my nuclear family and then we’re going elsewhere for dessert, making sure to bring GF desserts with us.

Finally, I’m sure your friend would be happy to answer any questions you might have for her about how to make it all work.

ok theres one in bonnieville by a church if you go to look at bonneville elementry there are 2 churches a big one and a small one with gravel rocks people play there every once in a while
