I was the only house in my neighborhood that displayed the American flag today. are people not proud of displaying the flag anymore. I remember a time when it meant something.

I put my flag up when we went into Afghanistan and it will remain up until our troops come home.

well sad to say people are not true patriots and do not honer veterans.. just like if you look around they have skip over thanksgiving and move right on to Christmas. If there was money to be spent on gifts to be given out .. then people would believe . if there is no chance of them getting anything. so they don't have time for it .. sad but true .. just look around it all about the money and that no funny..

I just don't have one or, really any place to display it - our apartments don't allow anything hung from the balcony or windows..

Why don't people display the American flag on Veterans Day?
