A cold snap hits Central Florida just before Thanksgiving
Orlando, Florida. – Anything you can do I can do better. Another strong cold front will cut across central Florida to deliver cooler air into the Sunshine State early in Thanksgiving week.
The highs leading up to Monday will take center stage in the highs of the 70s and lows of the 80s. Cool air will blow on Monday evening and into Tuesday. Tuesday’s high temperatures only soar into the 60s, despite abundant sunshine.
Tuesday night through Wednesday morning will be the coolest of the bunch as most of Central Florida wakes up to the 40s. Marion, Inland Flagler, and North Lake could dip into the mid-30s and up. With a breeze from the warmer Atlantic, it will be noticeably warmer along the coast Wednesday morning.
Temperatures will rise in time for Thanksgiving. After a cool start in the 40s and 50s on Thursday morning, temperatures rise into the mid 70s by afternoon. Other than a few passing clouds, the sun will rise in full force.
If you’re an early riser shopping Black Friday, you might still want to grab a light jacket as temperatures dip into the 50s.
