Details: Tanger Outlets invite shoppers to a tree lighting party, presented by Halifax Health Medical Center. Santa Claus will arrive in a Beach Jeep, and there will be a holiday performance for the Mia Bella Dance group. Additionally, the event features a balloon artist, face painting, meet Santa, shark mascots, pocket beach, holiday drinks and music. The first 1,000 guests will receive a holiday tree contract; The top 50 will receive a Tanger Carrying Case. Free and open to the public.

12th Annual Riverfest Seafood Festival

Where: Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive

The Details: The Riverfest Seafood Festival returns to Ormond Beach with fresh fish, family fun, and a fall festival. There will be more than twenty vendors, live music, boats and paddle boards, activities for children and a beer garden. Kid Fish Fishing Clinic, for ages 4 to 12, will return this year sponsored by Fish Florida, Hull’s Seafood, Nauti Pets, Innovative Bookkeeping, and Florida Fish and Wildlife. Participants will take home one of the 300 free fishing poles, while supplies are running out. Free admission. A free shuttle is available from some parking lots. Details: Find out how Martin Luther King’s 1964 visits attracted national attention and sparked rallies, arrests, and clashes with police from J. Michael Butler, Professor at Flagler College. Details: The annual Poinsettia Christmas Sale sponsored by Father Eamonn Gilles Council 13018 Knights of Columbus is now under way. The sale will take place in the church parking lot, and the sale will continue until supplies run out. Fresh, locally grown flowers are available in sizes from 6 inches to 14 inches. While pre-orders are not required, you can order any quantity for pickup by calling Vince at 795-4260. Proceeds from the sale support the Knights of Columbus’ work in the community.
