Disney slut t-shirts are a reminder that innocence is dead

Lately, no less than two T-shirts have been in the news – yes T-shirt – for their ethic corruption. Although this issue may seem small, it is still worth posting.

Sam Carter, a former Disney employee, discovered the T-shirts that It read “I wanted a D” and “I gave her the letter D” with the character design being the iconic letter D in Walt Disney’s signature.

When Walt Disney founded the company’s first Disney park in California in 1955, he opened with the simple phrase “…Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, dreams, and hard realities that created America. With the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.” We find it hard to believe that this guy with personality and an American would condone using his signature in this way.

We won’t pretend to be surprised or angry in this latest episode of debauchery. Deconstructing public morals and ethical behavior is common in America today. What people do behind their doors is up to them. But public corrupt actions must be moderated, not only for the moral compass of our society but also for the good of the eyes and ears of our children. We condemn this latest act of gross moral perversion on the part of Disney and its employees.
