It was a day after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed four new bills into law prohibiting governments and agencies from ordering vaccines and threatening heavy fines for companies that don’t allow opt-outs.
”I’m feeling comfortable. Cattorano replied: “I am grateful.
Catorano said he was defending freedom when he previously organized protests against Disney’s mandate
“I worry about anyone else more than I am and am happy to see that all the people who were anxious, especially on holidays, have gotten off that stress, and the monkey has bounced off their backs, and they are going to be able to keep their jobs.
Cattorano said his email also reads that Disney has temporarily suspended its mandate due to the OHSA’s suspension of its enforcement of federal mandates for employers.
Disney’s response to News 6 Saturday did not address the results of the special session.
“We believe our approach to mandatory vaccinations was the right one as we continued to focus on the safety and well-being of our cast members and guests, and at this point, more than 90 percent of active Florida cast members have already verified that they have been fully vaccinated. We will address legal developments as appropriate,” as stated in a Disney statement.
