ExcelinEd Hosts Annual Conference at Disney’s Coronado Springs

The annual ExcelinEd Conference recently took place in Disney’s Coronado Springs where political leaders and national figures met to explore policymaking priorities in education. The conference took place from November 17-18 and included guest speakers and a keynote address by former Florida Governor Jeb Bush.

Other nominees were Cornell West and Robert George of Princeton University. While the two leaders remain at odds regarding their ideological views, both have spoken of the virtues of tolerating and respectful of other viewpoints in academic discourse.

Attendees arrived from all over the country, including state legislators, mayors, and political leaders of all stripes.

The event sponsor’s website describes the event as “the nation’s premier gathering of educational policy-makers, practitioners, and advocates. Each year, more than a thousand state and national leaders gather for the annual event, providing an unparalleled forum for sharing results-based solutions and strategies that can To constitute a critical public policy for transforming education. This unique conference serves as a catalyst for revitalizing and accelerating education improvements across the country.”
