Oakland police said they have notified the Orange County Sheriff’s Office to look for Stacey. Representatives initially said the former professional soccer player had already left the state.

The victim told the police that she and Stacey had a child together. Records showed that she was letting him see the baby as an “olive branch” because they were currently mediating.

She said the husband started arguing and Stacey attacked her.

A surveillance video showing the attack was posted on social media. It shows a man hitting a woman and throwing her into a TV, then falling on her after she hits the ground. The police confirmed that this is the same video that the victim gave her and is being used in the investigation.
