Fresh seafood and family fun at the 12th Annual River Festival, November 20-21

For the first time since 2019, the Riverfest Seafood Festival is back with all the fresh fish, family fun, and fall festivities that attendees have come to expect at this annual celebration of life along the water. On November 20 and 21, visit Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park in Ormond Beach to find more than twenty vendors of food, live music, boats, paddle boards, kids’ activities, a beer garden with TVs to catch your favorite soccer team, and much more.

Make sure you are hungry. Are you in the mood for crab cakes? Chowder soup? Fried shrimp? Fish and chips? Maybe your craving for burgers and fries? sausage? barbecue? You’ll find it all at Riverfest along with fried Oreos, ice cream, kettle corn, and more.

Relax and enjoy live entertainment with your great food. We’re so excited to be able to give these amazing bands a chance to hear them again. Saturday features country with BLU Highway, 1960s rock with Emperor Napoleon, R&B artist Amy Alysia and Soul Operation. Enjoy Sunday with Beachside Music, then take the day away with Grand Theft Audio and We Are Electric.

Worried about losing your college or professional soccer team win? do not be! We have flat screen TVs playing the biggest competitions this weekend in our beer garden.

But this festival is about more than just food. Held along Ormond’s sparkling riverfront, this event features two days of water activities including horseback riding on a gorgeous Seabreacher submersible and visits from a Super Petrel seaplane. You can enjoy the boating and stay dry when you visit our boat and the “adult” water game shows at the festival grounds.

Of course, our popular children’s fishing clinic will be back this year – sponsored by Fish Florida, Hull’s Seafood, Nauti Pets, Innovative Bookkeeping, and Florida Fish and Wildlife. Kids ages 4-12 can check out our learning stations to learn more about casting, tying the knot, and ethical fishing. When they’re done, they can take home one of the 300 free fishing poles while they run out of supplies.

There is plenty for the little ones to do in the kids’ area. Make a vehicle, jump, hop and climb, play some throwing hits, draw your face or draw a Spanos car. You can stop at the Early Learning Coalition bus to play or get a free express hearing and vision test.

This year’s Riverfest takes place on Saturday, November 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, November 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free entry and free parking make it easy to enjoy a large variety of activities planned in each of the riverfront parks. A free shuttle service from our remote car parks makes parking even easier. Take a look at the website for parking locations.
