Lawmakers said searches are underway for the shooter after a man was shot dead in Orange County
Orange County, Florida. — A search is underway for the shooter after a man was killed when he was shot multiple times Wednesday night, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
The mayor’s office said deputies responded to an office building on Cortland Street near Lee Road to reports of gunfire around 9:09 p.m. and found a 43-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

Representatives said witnesses told them that the shooter, a man dressed in all black, shot the 43-year-old and drove off in a car.
The 43-year-old was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the sheriff’s office.
The exact location of the shooting is not known.
