Man faces attempted murder charge of stabbing him in Davenport apartment complex

Osceola County, Florida. — Brian Zambrano Solorzano, 28, is facing attempted murder in a stabbing incident at the Davenport apartment complex, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said a Davenport man was stabbed in his seat at the Thrive apartment complex on Monday morning.

Zambrano Solorzano and girlfriend Ange Molina Rojas, 27, were staying at a hotel, according to the sheriff’s office.

Online records show that Zambrano Solorzano and his girlfriend were visiting a married couple when they got into an argument at the apartment complex.


Zambrano Solorzano grabbed a kitchen knife and cut the victim through the abdomen, according to online records.

Representatives said that the victim was hit with two knives in the stomach and one in the right thigh.

The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition. A woman at the scene also sustained minor injuries from a knife in her arms and stomach.

The sheriff’s office said Molina Rojas obstructed the investigation by making multiple statements. Lawmakers said she also admitted to disposing of the knife used in the accident.

Zambrano Solorzano and Molina Rojas are booked into the Orange County Jail.

Molina Rojas faces charges of collusion after the incident, providing false information to a law enforcement officer and tampering with evidence.

Representatives said both suspects are from Colombia and are in the United States illegally. Investigators said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement was placed on both suspects.
