Indie pop artist Snail Mail announced Monday that his entire US tour, including next week’s show at Beachm, has been postponed. (Hey, we got confused too, we got Jim Leatherman ready to film the concert for us.)

Front President Lindsey Jordan issued a statement earlier today explaining the delay:

I lose my voice after two days of singing. I went to see an ENT doctor last week and they found huge polyps in the vocal cords (surprisingly from vocal shock due to speaking!! Recovery time is three months/speech therapy and in an effort to make sure the rest of the tour can happen I will be postponing our first US tour which was from Supposed to start this week as well as our first UK/Euro tour 🙁 .I am shocked that I will be postponing shows longer. My team is working overtime to reschedule everything we are postponing – everything will be rescheduled soon. Thank you so much for all the support I submitted it to the new record.

While not all 2021 shows are off the table, Jordan and her band are pressing ahead with full steam on a very extended US tour in 2022.

Showing Tuesday, November 30th in Beecham, as well as the entire Snail Mail tour of North America actually(!) A new date in Besham has been rescheduled for August 23, 2022. Tickets previously purchased for this show’s original date of 2022 will be honored.
