Soldiers say the wrong road crash in Volusia County is taking two people to hospital
Volusia County, Florida. — A 28-year-old man was driving in the wrong direction when his car collided with another vehicle on Interstate 95 early Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Records show that the accident occurred just before 4 a.m. at mile 243 near the Edgewater exit in Volusia County.

Troops said the 28-year-old from Titusville was driving a sedan south in the northbound lanes of I-95. According to the statement, his car collided with another sedan that was being driven by a 70-year-old woman from Vero Beach.
Both drivers were taken to hospital. The man was seriously injured, according to the accident report, while the woman was seriously injured.
The soldiers did not reveal the names of the drivers. Nor did they say whether the driver taking the wrong road was speeding or intoxicated.
