The coldest weather of the season settles down on Sunday night
Orlando, Florida. – Cold air continues to flow behind the strong cold front on Saturday. Although there is little fanfare in terms of precipitation and storms, as expected, it does provide the region with the coldest air of the season.
The sun will be out in full force on Sunday with a few thin clouds passing through the afternoon. Highs will hold into the low 70s on Sunday afternoon with a little splash of the 60s in northwest Orlando.
Under clear skies and calm winds, temperatures dip into the 40s and lower than the 50s across much of Central Florida. It will be possible to reside a few years from the 1930s in Marion County on Monday morning.
Temperatures bounced back to the mid-70s on Monday afternoon. Sunshine lasts until midweek before the chances of rain gradually increase to close the work week.
The tropics remain calm with no new developments expected over the next five days. Hurricane season runs through November.
