This apartment in Florida is $305,000 in a train car under a bridge
If you try to write a fictional narrative of the frenetic housing market, and include a train car under a bridge that sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars, you will likely be flagged for being a bit reckless. However, Florida is not an exact place, and housing market rallies are following suit.
A Jacksonville apartment built from a train car under a bridge is currently selling for $305,000. The train wagon has two bedrooms and a full kitchen, often serving as a jumping off point for revelers and sports enthusiasts who want to go to TIAA Bank Field. The car is located under the Hart Bridge just steps away from the home of the Florida-Georgia game and (less excitingly) the Jacksonville Jaguars.
There is no law that says you cannot live there full time. The train comes with many amenities that make it fun: a desktop, a desk, several TVs, and multiple beds. The apartment is fully furnished and represented by Chad and Sandy Real Estate.
