Tis the season to be thankful | Sumter County Shopper

With all the labor shortages, inflation and delays in shipping, we often wonder; What should I be thankful for? The truth is, if you have a roof over your head, clothes on your back, and food in the fridge, you have a lot to thank.

I once heard a pastor say, “God promises to meet all your needs, not all your greed.” In Thanksgiving and the Christmas season, let’s focus on what we have, more than what we don’t have.

We can all count our blessings and name the things we are thankful for. At First Baptist Church in Lake Panasovki, we would like to show you some of the things you can really be grateful for, a relationship of love with God, through Jesus Christ His Son.

Our church offers intimate small Bible study groups for adults, children and teens, on Sundays at 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM. We also offer a great kids service called KidVenture on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 p.m. with Bible studies for adults at the same time. Our Sunday morning worship is at 10:00 a.m. We have exciting hymns of praise and a message that will challenge you.

We have our first family Christmas on December 19th with special Christmas music from the Children’s Ministry, our Praise Band, and the Praise Singer.

We are located at 802 County Road 470 in Lake Panasoffkee. 352-793-5510 [email protected] Live every Sunday at 10:00 AM on our website, Facebook Live, and on YouTube.
